There really is something for everyone...
If you like traditional real ales you will probably want to sample local brews. Glenfinnan Brewery is a micro brewery about 25 mins from Mallaig run By Donald John a local retired maths teacher. His brewery offers appropriately named “The Standard”, “Pretender” and “Hebridean Gold” amongst others. We also support Isle Of Skye Breweries who do a great “Black Cullin” and “Red Cuillin” but we are dependant on two ferries for there amber nectar so it can be a bit challenging to bring in. We also like to add variety so guest different beers from time to time also. New for 2012 - Perroni Lager as well as old favourites.
Our wine list is carefully handpicked and tweaked each ear based on customer recommendations, trends and value for money. We have a good selection of organic and fairtade wines too. Wine by the carafe, half carafe and glass also.
A good golden shelf of known and more obscure malts that are easier to pronounce after a few have been consumed. We also have a neat silver shelf because gin really has a lot to offer, Bombay Saphires, Tanqueray (mother’s ruin!) and Hendricks infused with rose petals. Guinness, Best, Thatcher's cider, Magners, Crabbies the list goes on... as well as the spirits too many to mention.
Fresh ground coffee ground fresh to order, lattes, espressos, cappuccinos, americanos with Tinderbox roasted beans from Mathew Algie - the coffee machine, stellar stainless steel, boiling water and some Italian influence – needs a DVLC to operate it… but if you like your caffeine kick , say no more.
